Adoption map

A shared vocabulary for how users move from gaining access to returning to a module. We use this map when scoping instrumentation and uptake reviews.

The user or tenant has a licence or role that could use the module. Without this baseline, adoption rates are fiction.

Navigation, search, or onboarding actually surfaces the capability. Permission defaults and feature flags often stall here.

First meaningful action inside the module—not a page view. Definitions are written per capability before instrumentation starts.

Return use at seven and thirty days. One-time tours do not count as adoption for roadmap or renewal decisions.

Depth within the module or adjacent capabilities. Useful for tenant scorecards and expansion conversations.
